Hikayat is derived from the Arabic word حکا which means storytelling. In the Malay archipelago, it is one of the areas of past Malay literature which usually tell about a culture, tradition, or an important event. In relation to its meaning, our sarong represents the storytelling of traditional culture through modern design. The sarong is made of lightweight 'spun polyester fabric', perfect for the tropical climate, and can be worn anytime, anywhere, for praying purposes, whether at the mosque or at home. We strive to create designs that allow people to embrace their past and cultural heritage.
